Celebrating 20 years in the music biz is special enough. But to have been truly groundbreaking and still be around that long is even more reason to celebrate. This September marks two whole decades since MATT BLACK and JON MORE (aka COLDCUT) first released music under the imprint of NINJA TUNE. To commemorate the event the label is releasing a strictly limited, pre-order only, once in a lifetime set they are calling a 'futurespective'. The 'Ninja XX Box' will comprise three hardcover cases in a hardback box, all beautifully made and with foil-blocked text and general marvellousness. Case 1 contains 6 CDs of exclusive music from across all Ninja?s family of labels: 4CDs of which will be released as two stand alone compilations (ZENCD160/ZENCD160R, which will include a few recently released favourites as well as the wealth of exclusives found on the box, apart from the 7"s and CD5+6) + 2 CDs of music only available in this box set - i.e. not available digitally or anywhere outside the box set. Case 2 contains: 6 x 7" singles - all material only available in this box set + an inner pocket with a Ninja family tree poster by Nigel Peake + Sleeve Cover Poster + Ninja Tune XX Sticker Sheet Case 3 contains the exclusive hardback edition of Black Dog Publishing book "NINJA TUNE: 20 Years of Beats & Pieces" by Stevie Chick (hardback edition only available in this box set).
